This Day in American History

On this day in 1812, during the Creek War, General Andrew Jackson threatens to personally shoot any deserter. There aren't any after that statement.

Comments:
If only Andrew Jackson was in charge of Iraq.

Saw the new James Bond which was largely filmed in your adopted country. Montenegro is, as I understand it, only slightly better than Albania, so they couldn't film there. I'll have to visit once my kids are out of school. It's not deserters we have a problem with in Iraq it's PC generalship and there appears to be something wrong with the Iraqi leadership. Or so it appears to me.
